Safety Measures

Safety has always been our number one priority at Deer Lake Boat Rentals.  Since 1972, we have reduced the risk of the hazards of boating by supplying PFD's and equipment approved by Transport Canada.  There is an N.L. certified lifeguard on staff and we have provided instruction and rescue equipment at Deer Lake.

If you would like to bring your own equipment such as lifejackets and paddles, that is not a problem.  Lifejackets must be Transport Canada approved.
