Would you like to use our boats somewhere other than Deer Lake? No problem!
We are conveniently located right beside the highway and have offsite rentals on a daily and weekly basis. Included with your rental are lifejackets, paddles and all other mandatory safety equipment.
You must know how to safely secure and transport any rental equipment. Renters are solely responsible for the safe transport of all equipment. We will not assist you in securing any equipment to your own vehicle. Please bring someone with you to assist with moving and loading any boats. Below are 2 good videos on how to securely tie down a canoe on a car with a roofrack. There are lots more good videos on youtube.

Equipment rented is for offsite use and NOT to be used at Deer Lake.

Please note that you are solely responsible to load any rental boat onto your vehicle, so please bring someone to assist you with this task. The videos at the bottom of this page are highly recommended if you have never transported a canoe or kayak before.
The foam blocks, hood loops and the cam straps are available for purchase at MEC (linked above), Western Canoe and Kayak and for rent at Deer Lake. We rent 4 foam blocks, 2 hood loops, 2 cam straps and ropes for $10 per offsite rental.
